Remote Learning provision
If your child tests positive for Covid-19, please inform our Attendance Office, Mrs Evans, as soon as possible by email at sharonevans@aom.trafford.sch.uk or by telephone on 0161 973 1179 ext *2238.
A lateral flow test should be taken on the morning of day 5 and on the morning of day 6, and if both test results are negative, your child should return to school on day 6. If the results of either of their tests is positive, they should continue to self-isolate until they get negative results from two lateral flow tests on consecutive days or until they have completed 10 full days of self-isolation, whichever is earliest.
On receipt of notification of a positive result, your child will be added to the home learning classroom; this may take 24 hours to come online as Satchel updates every 24 hours at midnight. Subject related work will be uploaded to Satchel on a regular basis. This will not match the pupil timetable as lesson tasks are uploaded throughout the week. Please monitor your child’s work-stream on a smartphone through the Satchel App, or on a computer through the Satchel website.
